About the Ministry

 

 

Bishop Frank McLeod is the Pastor and founder of God's House of Prayer Holiness Church in Auburn, Alabama and Camp Hill, Alabama.  He is also founder, visionary,  and Presiding Prelate of House of Prayer, Inc., which is an organization for all denominational churches.  Bishop McLeod and  his wife Jeanette currently reside in Opelika, AL.

 

He is a graduate of Deborah Cannon Wolfe High School in Shorter, Alabama and trade school operated by, then Tuskegee Institute.  He obtained an associate degree from Southern Union Community College. Later he completed coursework toward a bachelor's degree at Troy State University.  Bishop McLeod has also received a Doctor of Divinity from Genesis Biblical College.

 

In 1980, he was baptized in Jesus' name and later filled with the Holy Ghost.  He served as Head Deacon under Bishop Reginald Burton. In addition to that, he  served as deacon, an ordained minister and later, an Elder; all  under Bishop Abraham Harris, Sr.   In 1996 God moved Pastor McLeod into his own work.  During that time, he was elevated to the office of a Bishop in May 1996, by Dr. George F. Austin, P.A.W.

 

In addition to his work in the ministry, Bishop McLeod has dedicated 27 years of employment service to West Point Stevens Mill.  While employed there, he served 12  years on their management team before retiring.   Bishop is the CEO of McLeod Real  Estate Company where he buys, sells, rents and build homes.
